Ang Pulong Sang Dios
Pangamuyo para sa Bulig sang Dios sa Nasyon
80 Pamatii kami, O Manugbantay sang Israel,
nga manugtuytoy sang mga kaliwat ni Jose nga pareho sa mga karnero.
Ikaw nga nagapungko sa imo trono sa tunga sang mga kerubin, ipakita ang imo gahom
2 sa tribo ni Efraim, ni Benjamin, kag ni Manase.
Ipakita na ang imo gahom, kag kadtui kami kag luwasa.
3 O Dios, ibalik sa amon ang amon maayo nga kahimtangan. Ipakita sa amon ang imo kaayo agod maluwas kami.
4 Ginoong Dios nga Makagagahom, hasta san-o pa bala ang imo kaakig sa mga pangamuyo namon nga imo katawhan?
5 Ginpuno mo kami sang kasubo, kag halos mainom na namon ang amon mga luha.
6 Gintugot mo nga awayon kami sang amon katupad nga mga nasyon,
kag sila nga amon mga kaaway nagayaguta sa amon.
7 O Dios nga Makagagahom, ibalik sa amon ang amon maayo nga kahimtangan.
Ipakita sa amon ang imo kaayo agod maluwas kami.
8 Kami nga imo katawhan daw pareho sa tanom nga ubas nga ginkuha mo sa Egipto kag gintanom sa duta nga ang mga katawhan sini gintabog mo.
9 Ginhawanan mo ini nga duta, kag nagpanggamot sing maayo ang ubas kag nagpangalapkap ini sa bug-os nga duta.
10 Ginhandungan[a] sang iya mga sanga ang mga bukid kag ang dalagko nga mga kahoy nga sedro.
11 Naglambot ang iya mga sanga hasta sa Dagat sang Mediteraneo kag hasta sa Suba sang Eufrates.
12 Pero ngaa gin-guba mo, O Dios, ang mga pader sang sini nga tanom?
Gani ginakawat sang tanan nga nagaagi ang mga bunga sini.
13 Kag ginakaon ini sang mga talunon nga baboy kag sang iban pa nga talunon nga mga sapat.
14 Balikda kami, O Dios nga Makagagahom!
Halin sa langit, tan-awa kami sing maayo.
Dumduma kami nga imo katawhan nga
15 pareho sa tanom nga ubas nga gintanom mo paagi sa imo gahom.
Dumduma kami nga imo mga anak nga imo ginpalig-on para sa imo kadayawan.
16 O Dios, daw sa gintapas kami nga ubas kag ginsunog.
Gintulok mo kami nga may kaakig kag ginlaglag mo kami.
17 Pero karon buligi kami nga imo ginpili nga mangin malapit sa imo kag ginpalig-on para sa imo kadayawan,
18 kag indi na kami magbiya sa imo.
Ibalik sa amon ang amon maayo nga kahimtangan,
kag simbahon ka namon.
19 Ginoong Dios nga Makagagahom, ibalik sa amon ang maayo nga kahimtangan!
Ipakita sa amon ang imo kaayo agod maluwas kami.

For the director of music. To the tune of “The Lilies of the Covenant.” Of Asaph. A psalm.
1 Hear us, Shepherd of Israel,
you who lead Joseph like a flock.(A)
You who sit enthroned between the cherubim,(B)
shine forth 2 before Ephraim, Benjamin and Manasseh.(C)
Awaken(D) your might;
come and save us.(E)
4 How long,(I) Lord God Almighty,
will your anger smolder(J)
against the prayers of your people?
5 You have fed them with the bread of tears;(K)
you have made them drink tears by the bowlful.(L)
6 You have made us an object of derision[b] to our neighbors,
and our enemies mock us.(M)
7 Restore us, God Almighty;
make your face shine on us,
that we may be saved.(N)
8 You transplanted a vine(O) from Egypt;
you drove out(P) the nations and planted(Q) it.
9 You cleared the ground for it,
and it took root and filled the land.
10 The mountains were covered with its shade,
the mighty cedars with its branches.
11 Its branches reached as far as the Sea,[c]
its shoots as far as the River.[d](R)
12 Why have you broken down its walls(S)
so that all who pass by pick its grapes?
13 Boars from the forest ravage(T) it,
and insects from the fields feed on it.
14 Return to us, God Almighty!
Look down from heaven and see!(U)
Watch over this vine,
15 the root your right hand has planted,
the son[e] you have raised up for yourself.
16 Your vine is cut down, it is burned with fire;(V)
at your rebuke(W) your people perish.
17 Let your hand rest on the man at your right hand,
the son of man(X) you have raised up for yourself.
18 Then we will not turn away from you;
revive(Y) us, and we will call on your name.
19 Restore us, Lord God Almighty;
make your face shine on us,
that we may be saved.

80 Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth.
2 Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up thy strength, and come and save us.
3 Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
4 O Lord God of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?
5 Thou feedest them with the bread of tears; and givest them tears to drink in great measure.
6 Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbours: and our enemies laugh among themselves.
7 Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
8 Thou hast brought a vine out of Egypt: thou hast cast out the heathen, and planted it.
9 Thou preparedst room before it, and didst cause it to take deep root, and it filled the land.
10 The hills were covered with the shadow of it, and the boughs thereof were like the goodly cedars.
11 She sent out her boughs unto the sea, and her branches unto the river.
12 Why hast thou then broken down her hedges, so that all they which pass by the way do pluck her?
13 The boar out of the wood doth waste it, and the wild beast of the field doth devour it.
14 Return, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine;
15 And the vineyard which thy right hand hath planted, and the branch that thou madest strong for thyself.
16 It is burned with fire, it is cut down: they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.
17 Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself.
18 So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and we will call upon thy name.
19 Turn us again, O Lord God of hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
