Ang Pulong Sang Dios
Pagdayaw sa Templo sang Dios
132 Ginoo, indi pagkalimti si David kag ang tanan nga kabudlayan nga ginbatas niya.
2 Dumduma ang iya promisa sa imo, Ginoo, ang Gamhanan nga Dios ni Jacob.
Nagpromisa siya nga,
3 “Indi ako magpauli ukon maghigda
4 ukon magtulog
5 hasta nga makakita ako sang lugar nga para puy-an sang Ginoo, ang Gamhanan nga Dios ni Jacob.”
6 Sang didto kami sa Efrata[a] nakabati kami kon diin ang Kahon sang Kasugtanan,
kag nakita namon ini sa latagon sang Jaar.
7 Dayon nagsiling kami, “Makadto kita sa templo sang Ginoo kag magsimba sa atubangan sang iya trono.”[b]
8 Sige na, Ginoo, kadto ka sa imo templo upod sang Kahon sang Kasugtanan nga simbolo sang imo gahom.
9 Kabay pa nga magkabuhi permi sing matarong ang imo mga pari kag magkanta sa kalipay ang imo matutom nga katawhan.
10 Tungod kay David nga imo alagad, indi pag-isikway ang imo pinili nga hari.
11 Nagpromisa ka sadto kay David,
kag sigurado nga tumanon mo kag indi pagbawion.
Siling mo: “Ang isa sang imo mga kaliwat pabuslon ko sa imo bilang hari.
12 Kon tumanon sang imo mga kaliwat nga mga hari ang akon kasugtanan kag ang mga pagpanudlo nga gintudlo ko sa ila,
ang ila mga kaliwat magahari man hasta san-o.”
13 Matuod nga ginpili kag ginhandom sang Ginoo ang Zion[c] nga iya puy-an.
Siling niya,
14 “Amo ini ang akon puluy-an hasta san-o;
diri ako magapuyo[d] kay ginhandom ko ini.
15 Hatagan ko ang Zion sang tanan niya nga kinahanglanon,
kag bisan ang iya mga pumuluyo nga mga imol busgon ko sang pagkaon.
16 Permi ko luwason ang iya mga pari,
kag ang iya matutom nga mga pumuluyo magakanta permi sa kalipay.
17 “Paharion ko sa Zion ang hari nga kaliwat ni David kag padayunon ko ang iya paggahom.[e]
18 Pakahuy-an ko ang iya mga kaaway, pero pauswagon ko ang iya ginharian.”

1 Lord, remember David
and all his self-denial.(B)
2 He swore an oath to the Lord,
he made a vow to the Mighty One of Jacob:(C)
3 “I will not enter my house(D)
or go to my bed,
4 I will allow no sleep to my eyes
or slumber to my eyelids,
5 till I find a place(E) for the Lord,
a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob.”
6 We heard it in Ephrathah,(F)
we came upon it in the fields of Jaar:[a](G)
7 “Let us go to his dwelling place,(H)
let us worship at his footstool,(I) saying,
8 ‘Arise, Lord,(J) and come to your resting place,
you and the ark of your might.
9 May your priests be clothed with your righteousness;(K)
may your faithful people(L) sing for joy.’”
10 For the sake of your servant David,
do not reject your anointed one.
11 The Lord swore an oath to David,(M)
a sure oath he will not revoke:
“One of your own descendants(N)
I will place on your throne.
12 If your sons keep my covenant(O)
and the statutes I teach them,
then their sons will sit
on your throne(P) for ever and ever.”
13 For the Lord has chosen Zion,(Q)
he has desired it for his dwelling,(R) saying,
14 “This is my resting place for ever and ever;(S)
here I will sit enthroned,(T) for I have desired it.
15 I will bless her with abundant provisions;
her poor I will satisfy with food.(U)
16 I will clothe her priests(V) with salvation,
and her faithful people will ever sing for joy.(W)
