Salmau 86
Beibl William Morgan
Gweddi Dafydd.
86 Gostwng, O Arglwydd, dy glust, gwrando fi: canys truan ac anghenus ydwyf. 2 Cadw fy enaid; canys sanctaidd ydwyf: achub di dy was, O fy Nuw, yr hwn sydd yn ymddiried ynot. 3 Trugarha wrthyf, Arglwydd: canys arnat y llefaf beunydd. 4 Llawenha enaid dy was: canys atat ti, Arglwydd, y dyrchafaf fy enaid. 5 Canys ti, O Arglwydd, ydwyt dda, a maddeugar; ac o fawr drugaredd i’r rhai oll a alwant arnat. 6 Clyw, Arglwydd, fy ngweddi; ac ymwrando â llais fy ymbil. 7 Yn nydd fy nghyfyngder y llefaf arnat: canys gwrandewi fi. 8 Nid oes fel tydi ymysg y duwiau, O Arglwydd; na gweithredoedd fel dy weithredoedd di. 9 Yr holl genhedloedd y rhai a wnaethost a ddeuant, ac a addolant ger dy fron di, O Arglwydd; ac a ogoneddant dy enw. 10 Canys ydwyt fawr, ac yn gwneuthur rhyfeddodau: ti yn unig wyt Dduw. 11 Dysg i mi dy ffordd, O Arglwydd; mi a rodiaf yn dy wirionedd: una fy nghalon i ofni dy enw. 12 Moliannaf di, O Arglwydd fy Nuw, â’m holl galon: a gogoneddaf dy enw yn dragywydd. 13 Canys mawr yw dy drugaredd tuag ataf fi: a gwaredaist fy enaid o uffern isod. 14 Rhai beilchion a gyfodasant i’m herbyn, O Dduw, a chynulleidfa y trawsion a geisiasant fy enaid; ac ni’th osodasant di ger eu bron. 15 Eithr ti, O Arglwydd, wyt Dduw trugarog a graslon; hwyrfrydig i lid, a helaeth o drugaredd a gwirionedd. 16 Edrych arnaf, a thrugarha wrthyf: dyro dy nerth i’th was, ac achub fab dy wasanaethferch. 17 Gwna i mi arwydd er daioni: fel y gwelo fy nghaseion, ac y gwaradwydder hwynt; am i ti, O Arglwydd, fy nghynorthwyo a’m diddanu.
Psalm 86
New International Version
Psalm 86
A prayer of David.
1 Hear me, Lord, and answer(A) me,
for I am poor and needy.
2 Guard my life, for I am faithful to you;
save your servant who trusts in you.(B)
You are my God; 3 have mercy(C) on me, Lord,
for I call(D) to you all day long.
4 Bring joy to your servant, Lord,
for I put my trust(E) in you.
5 You, Lord, are forgiving and good,
abounding in love(F) to all who call to you.
6 Hear my prayer, Lord;
listen to my cry(G) for mercy.
7 When I am in distress,(H) I call(I) to you,
because you answer(J) me.
8 Among the gods(K) there is none like you,(L) Lord;
no deeds can compare with yours.
9 All the nations you have made
will come(M) and worship(N) before you, Lord;
they will bring glory(O) to your name.
10 For you are great(P) and do marvelous deeds;(Q)
you alone(R) are God.
11 Teach me your way,(S) Lord,
that I may rely on your faithfulness;(T)
give me an undivided(U) heart,
that I may fear(V) your name.
12 I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart;(W)
I will glorify your name forever.
13 For great is your love toward me;
you have delivered me(X) from the depths,
from the realm of the dead.(Y)
14 Arrogant foes are attacking me, O God;
ruthless people are trying to kill me—
they have no regard for you.(Z)
15 But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious(AA) God,
slow to anger,(AB) abounding(AC) in love and faithfulness.(AD)
16 Turn to me(AE) and have mercy(AF) on me;
show your strength(AG) in behalf of your servant;
save me, because I serve you
just as my mother did.(AH)
17 Give me a sign(AI) of your goodness,
that my enemies may see it and be put to shame,
for you, Lord, have helped me and comforted me.
Psalm 86
King James Version
86 Bow down thine ear, O Lord, hear me: for I am poor and needy.
2 Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.
3 Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily.
4 Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
5 For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
6 Give ear, O Lord, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.
7 In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.
8 Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy works.
9 All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.
10 For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone.
11 Teach me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.
12 I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.
13 For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.
14 O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set thee before them.
15 But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, long suffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
16 O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid.
17 Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because thou, Lord, hast holpen me, and comforted me.
