I’r Pencerdd, Salm i feibion Cora.

47 Yr holl bobl, curwch ddwylo; llafargenwch i Dduw â llef gorfoledd. Canys yr Arglwydd goruchaf sydd ofnadwy; Brenin mawr ar yr holl ddaear. Efe a ddwg y bobl danom ni, a’r cenhedloedd dan ein traed. Efe a ddethol ein hetifeddiaeth i ni, ardderchowgrwydd Jacob, yr hwn a hoffodd efe. Sela. Dyrchafodd Duw â llawen floedd, yr Arglwydd â sain utgorn. Cenwch fawl i Dduw, cenwch: cenwch fawl i’n Brenin, cenwch. Canys Brenin yr holl ddaear yw Duw: cenwch fawl yn ddeallus. Duw sydd yn teyrnasu ar y cenhedloedd: eistedd y mae Duw ar orseddfainc ei sancteiddrwydd. Pendefigion y bobl a ymgasglasant ynghyd, sef pobl Duw Abraham: canys tarianau y ddaear ydynt eiddo Duw: dirfawr y dyrchafwyd ef.

Psalm 47[a]

Clap your hands,(A) all you nations;

For the Lord Most High(C) is awesome,(D)
    the great King(E) over all the earth.

He chose our inheritance(G) for us,
    the pride of Jacob,(H) whom he loved.[b]

God has ascended(I) amid shouts of joy,(J)
    the Lord amid the sounding of trumpets.(K)
Sing praises(L) to God, sing praises;
    sing praises to our King, sing praises.
For God is the King of all the earth;(M)
    sing to him a psalm(N) of praise.

God reigns(O) over the nations;
    God is seated on his holy throne.(P)
The nobles of the nations assemble
    as the people of the God of Abraham,
for the kings[c] of the earth belong to God;(Q)
    he is greatly exalted.(R)
