20 Gwrandawed yr Arglwydd arnat yn nydd cyfyngder: enw Duw Jacob a’th ddiffynno. 2 Anfoned i ti gymorth o’r cysegr, a nerthed di o Seion. 3 Cofied dy holl offrymau, a bydded fodlon i’th boethoffrwm. Sela. 4 Rhodded i ti wrth fodd dy galon; a chyflawned dy holl gyngor. 5 Gorfoleddwn yn dy iachawdwriaeth di, a dyrchafwn faner yn enw ein Duw: cyflawned yr Arglwydd dy holl ddymuniadau. 6 Yr awr hon y gwn y gwared yr Arglwydd ei eneiniog: efe a wrendy arno o nefoedd ei sancteiddrwydd, yn nerth iechyd ei ddeheulaw ef. 7 Ymddiried rhai mewn cerbydau, a rhai mewn meirch: ond nyni a gofiwn enw yr Arglwydd ein Duw. 8 Hwy a gwympasant, ac a syrthiasant; ond nyni a gyfodasom, ac a safasom. 9 Achub, Arglwydd: gwrandawed y Brenin arnom yn y dydd y llefom.

For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1 May the Lord answer you when you are in distress;(A)
may the name of the God of Jacob(B) protect you.(C)
2 May he send you help(D) from the sanctuary(E)
and grant you support(F) from Zion.(G)
3 May he remember(H) all your sacrifices
and accept your burnt offerings.[b](I)
4 May he give you the desire of your heart(J)
and make all your plans succeed.(K)
5 May we shout for joy(L) over your victory
and lift up our banners(M) in the name of our God.
May the Lord grant all your requests.(N)
6 Now this I know:
The Lord gives victory to his anointed.(O)
He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary
with the victorious power of his right hand.(P)
7 Some trust in chariots(Q) and some in horses,(R)
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.(S)
8 They are brought to their knees and fall,(T)
but we rise up(U) and stand firm.(V)
9 Lord, give victory to the king!
Answer us(W) when we call!
