Kanu waa gabay, waana sabuur ay reer Qorax tiriyeen.
48 Rabbigu waa weyn yahay, waana in aad loogu ammaanaa
Ilaaheenna magaaladiisa, iyo buurtiisa quduuska ah.
2 Waxaa dhererka ku quruxsan, oo farxad u ah dunida oo dhan
Buur Siyoon oo dhanka woqooyi ah,
Meeshaas oo ah magaalada Boqorka weyn.
3 Ilaah wuxuu daaraheeda dhaadheer isku muujiyey inuu magangal yahay.
4 Waayo, bal eeg, boqorradii way iswada urursadeen,
Dhammaantood way wada dhaafeen.
5 Oo kolkay arkeen ayay yaabeen,
Oo argaggexeen, markaasay haddiiba carareen.
6 Iyagii halkaasay ku gariireen,
Wayna ku xanuunsadeen sida naag foolanaysa.
7 Doonniyaha Tarshiish waxaad ku jejebisaa
Dabaysha bari.
8 Annagu sidaan maqalnay, ayaan ku dhex aragnay
Magaalada Rabbiga ciidammada, taasoo ah magaalada Ilaaheenna,
Ilaah ayaa weligeedba adkayn doona. (Selaah)
9 Ilaahow, raxmaddaada ayaan ka fikirnay
Markaan macbudkaaga ku jirnay.
10 Ilaahow, sida magacaagu yahay
Ayaa ammaantaaduna ku tahay dhulka darafyadiisa oo dhan,
Gacantaada midigna waxaa ka buuxda xaqnimo.
11 Buur Siyoon ha faraxdo,
Oo gabdhaha reer Yahuudah ha ku reyreeyeen xukummadaada daraaddood.
12 Siyoon hareeraheeda socda, oo ku soo wareega,
Oo munaaradaheeda tiriya.
13 Bal aad ugu fiirsada qalcadaheeda,
Oo ka fikira daaraheeda dhaadheer,
Si aad ugu sheekaysaan farcanka soo socda.
14 Waayo, weligiis iyo weligiisba Ilaahan ayaa Ilaah inoo ah,
Oo isagaa hoggaamiye inoo ahaan doona xataa tan iyo dhimashada.

Psalm 48[a]
A song. A psalm of the Sons of Korah.
1 Great is the Lord,(A) and most worthy of praise,(B)
in the city of our God,(C) his holy mountain.(D)
2 Beautiful(E) in its loftiness,
the joy of the whole earth,
like the heights of Zaphon[b](F) is Mount Zion,(G)
the city of the Great King.(H)
3 God is in her citadels;(I)
he has shown himself to be her fortress.(J)
4 When the kings joined forces,
when they advanced together,(K)
5 they saw her and were astounded;
they fled in terror.(L)
6 Trembling seized(M) them there,
pain like that of a woman in labor.(N)
7 You destroyed them like ships of Tarshish(O)
shattered by an east wind.(P)
8 As we have heard,
so we have seen
in the city of the Lord Almighty,
in the city of our God:
God makes her secure
forever.[c](Q)
9 Within your temple, O God,
we meditate(R) on your unfailing love.(S)
10 Like your name,(T) O God,
your praise reaches to the ends of the earth;(U)
your right hand is filled with righteousness.
11 Mount Zion rejoices,
the villages of Judah are glad
because of your judgments.(V)
12 Walk about Zion, go around her,
count her towers,(W)
13 consider well her ramparts,(X)
view her citadels,(Y)
that you may tell of them
to the next generation.(Z)
14 For this God is our God for ever and ever;
he will be our guide(AA) even to the end.
