148 ¶ Lwanj pou Seyè a! Nou menm ki rete anwo nan syèl la, fè lwanj Seyè a! Fè lwanj li anwo nan syèl la!

Se pou nou tout zanj li yo fè lwanj li. Se pou nou tout lame ki nan syèl la fè lwanj li.

Solèy ak lalin, fè lwanj li! Zetwal k'ap klere nan syèl la, fè lwanj li!

Se pou yo fè lwanj li anwo nèt nan syèl la. Se pou tout dlo ki pi wo pase syèl la fè lwanj li.

Se pou yo tout fè lwanj Seyè a! Paske, li annik pase yon lòd, epi tout bagay fèt.

Li mete yo chak nan plas yo pou tout tan. Li ba yo yon lòd, yo pa ka pa obeyi l'.

¶ Se pou tout bagay ki sou latè fè lwanj li: gwo bèt lanmè ansanm ak fon lanmè a,

dife ak lagrèl, lanèj ak vapè, gwo van k'ap fè sa li di yo fè,

gwo mòn kou ti mòn, pyebwa k'ap donnen ak tout gwo pye sèd yo,

10 tout bèt nan bwa, tout bèt domestik, tout bèt k'ap trennen sou vant, ak tout zwezo k'ap vole nan syèl.

11 Fè lwanj li, nou menm wa yo ak tout pèp ki sou latè, chèf ak nou tout k'ap dirije lèzòm,

12 jenn fi kou jenn gason, granmoun kou timoun.

13 Se pou nou tout fè lwanj Seyè a, paske li gen yon non ki pi gwo pase tout lòt non. Pouvwa li pi wo pase syèl la ak latè a.

14 Li rebay pèp li a fòs ankò. Sa te yon lwanj pou tout moun k'ap sèvi l' yo, pou pitit Izrayèl yo, pou pèp li renmen anpil la. Lwanj pou Seyè a!

Praise the Lord.[a](A)

Praise the Lord from the heavens;(B)
    praise him in the heights above.
Praise him, all his angels;(C)
    praise him, all his heavenly hosts.(D)
Praise him, sun(E) and moon;
    praise him, all you shining stars.
Praise him, you highest heavens(F)
    and you waters above the skies.(G)

Let them praise the name(H) of the Lord,
    for at his command(I) they were created,
and he established them for ever and ever—
    he issued a decree(J) that will never pass away.

Praise the Lord(K) from the earth,
    you great sea creatures(L) and all ocean depths,(M)
lightning and hail,(N) snow and clouds,
    stormy winds that do his bidding,(O)
you mountains and all hills,(P)
    fruit trees and all cedars,
10 wild animals(Q) and all cattle,
    small creatures and flying birds,
11 kings(R) of the earth and all nations,
    you princes and all rulers on earth,
12 young men and women,
    old men and children.

13 Let them praise the name of the Lord,(S)
    for his name alone is exalted;
    his splendor(T) is above the earth and the heavens.(U)
14 And he has raised up for his people a horn,[b](V)
    the praise(W) of all his faithful servants,(X)
    of Israel, the people close to his heart.(Y)
