13 would you therefore wait until they were grown? Would you therefore refrain from marrying? No, my daughters; for it is more bitter for me than for you, for (A)the hand of Yahweh has gone forth against me.” 14 And they lifted up their voices and wept again; and Orpah kissed her mother-in-law, but Ruth clung to her.
15 Then she said, “Behold, your sister-in-law has returned to her people and her (B)gods; return after your sister-in-law.”

13 would you wait until they grew up?(A) Would you remain unmarried for them? No, my daughters. It is more bitter(B) for me than for you, because the Lord’s hand has turned against me!(C)”
14 At this they wept(D) aloud again. Then Orpah kissed her mother-in-law(E) goodbye,(F) but Ruth clung to her.(G)
15 “Look,” said Naomi, “your sister-in-law(H) is going back to her people and her gods.(I) Go back with her.”
