⁹ Christ died and came to life^(A) for this: that He might rule over both the dead and the living.^(B)

¹⁵ For if your brother is hurt by what you eat, you are no longer walking according to love.^(A) Do not destroy that one Christ died for by what you eat.^(B)

¹¹ Then the weak person, the brother for whom Christ died,^(A) is ruined^[a](B) by your knowledge.^(C)

³ For I passed on to you^(A) as most important what I also received:

¹⁵ And He died for all^(A) so that those who live should no longer live for themselves,^(B) but for the One^(C) who died for them and was raised.
