Romans 9:5-7

5 whose are (A)the fathers, and (B)from whom is [a]the Christ according to the flesh, (C)who is over all, (D)God (E)blessed [b]forever. Amen.
6 But it is not as though (F)the word of God has failed. (G)For they are not all Israel who are descended from Israel; 7 nor are they all children (H)because they are Abraham’s [c]descendants, but: “[d](I)through Isaac your [e]descendants will be named.”

Romans 9:5-7
New International Version
5 Theirs are the patriarchs,(A) and from them is traced the human ancestry of the Messiah,(B) who is God over all,(C) forever praised![a](D) Amen.
God’s Sovereign Choice
6 It is not as though God’s word(E) had failed. For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel.(F) 7 Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham’s children. On the contrary, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.”[b](G)
