From Groans to Glory

¹⁸ For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing^(A) with the glory^(B) that is going to be revealed to us.

¹⁷ For our momentary light affliction^(A) is producing for us an absolutely incomparable eternal weight of glory.^(B)

¹¹ No discipline seems enjoyable at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it yields the peaceful fruit^(A) of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.^(B)

¹³ Instead, rejoice as you share in the sufferings of Christ,^(A) so that you may also rejoice with great joy when his glory is revealed.^(B)

5 I exhort the elders among you as a fellow elder and witness^(A) to the sufferings of Christ, as well as one who shares in the glory about to be revealed:^(B)
