17 ¶ and if sons, also heirs certainly of God and joint-heirs with Christ, if so be that we suffer with him that we may be also glorified together with him.
18 For I know with certainty that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the coming glory which shall be manifested in us.
19 For the earnest hope of the creatures waits for the manifestation of the sons of God.

17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs(A)—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings(B) in order that we may also share in his glory.(C)
Present Suffering and Future Glory
18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.(D) 19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God(E) to be revealed.
