Romans 6:5-7

5 For if we have been joined with Him in the likeness of His death,(A) we will certainly also be[a] in the likeness of His resurrection. 6 For we know that our old self[b](B) was crucified with Him(C) in order that sin’s dominion over the body[c] may be abolished,(D) so that we may no longer be enslaved to sin, 7 since a person who has died(E) is freed[d] from sin’s claims.[e]

5 For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his.(A) 6 For we know that our old self(B) was crucified with him(C) so that the body ruled by sin(D) might be done away with,[a] that we should no longer be slaves to sin(E)— 7 because anyone who has died has been set free from sin.(F)
