Romans 5:7-9

7 For one will rarely[a] die for a righteous person; for[b] perhaps someone may even dare to die for the good person. 8 But God demonstrates[c] His own love for us because while we were still being sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Therefore by much more, having now been declared-righteous by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath through Him.

New International Version
7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.(A)
9 Since we have now been justified(B) by his blood,(C) how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath(D) through him!
