²³ The words “it was credited to him” were written not for him alone,

²⁴ but also for us,^(A) to whom God will credit righteousness—for us who believe in him^(B) who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.^(C)

¹¹ These things happened to them as examples^(A) and were written down as warnings for us,^(B) on whom the culmination of the ages has come.^(C)

¹⁶ All Scripture is God-breathed^(A) and is useful for teaching,^(B) rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,^(C)

¹⁷ so that the servant of God^[a](A) may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.^(B)
