19 He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead because he was about a hundred years old, or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah’s womb. 20 No distrust made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, 21 fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised.

19 Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead(A)—since he was about a hundred years old(B)—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead.(C) 20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened(D) in his faith and gave glory to God,(E) 21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.(F)
