19 in the power of [a](A)signs and wonders, (B)in the power of the Spirit; so that (C)from Jerusalem and all around as (D)far as Illyricum I have [b]fully preached the gospel of Christ. 20 And in this way I make it my ambition to (E)proclaim the gospel, not where Christ was already named, (F)so that I would not build on another man’s foundation; 21 but as it is written,
“(G)They who had no declaration of Him shall see,
And they who have not heard shall understand.”

19 by the power of signs and wonders,(A) through the power of the Spirit of God.(B) So from Jerusalem(C) all the way around to Illyricum, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ.(D) 20 It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel(E) where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else’s foundation.(F) 21 Rather, as it is written:
