Romans 15:19-21

19 by the power of miraculous signs and wonders,(A) and by the power of God’s Spirit. As a result, I have fully proclaimed the good news about the Messiah from Jerusalem(B) all the way around to Illyricum.[a](C) 20 My aim is to evangelize where Christ has not been named,(D) so that I will not build on someone else’s foundation,(E) 21 but, as it is written:

Those who were not told about Him will see,
and those who have not heard will understand.(F)[b]

19 by the power of signs and wonders,(A) through the power of the Spirit of God.(B) So from Jerusalem(C) all the way around to Illyricum, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ.(D) 20 It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel(E) where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else’s foundation.(F) 21 Rather, as it is written:

“Those who were not told about him will see,
    and those who have not heard will understand.”[a](G)
