⁹ Christ died and returned to life^(A) for this: that he might be Lord over both the dead and the living.^(B)

¹⁵ For if your brother or sister is hurt by what you eat, you are no longer walking according to love.^(A) Do not destroy, by what you eat, someone for whom Christ died.^(B)

¹¹ So the weak person, the brother or sister for whom Christ died,^(A) is ruined^[a](B) by your knowledge.^(C)

³ For I passed on to you^(A) as most important what I also received: that Christ died^(B) for our sins according to the Scriptures,^{(C) 4} that he was buried,^(D) that he was raised on the third day^(E) according to the Scriptures,^(F)

¹⁵ And he died for all^(A) so that those who live should no longer live for themselves,^(B) but for the one^(C) who died for them and was raised.
