14 so that, if possible, I can make my “flesh” jealous, and save some of them. 15 If their casting away, you see, means reconciliation for the world, what will their acceptance mean but life from the dead?

14 in the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy(A) and save(B) some of them. 15 For if their rejection brought reconciliation(C) to the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?(D) 16 If the part of the dough offered as firstfruits(E) is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches.
