⁸ First, ^(A)I thank my God through Jesus Christ ^[a]for you all, because ^(B)your faith is being proclaimed throughout the whole world.

⁴ and there must be no ^(A)filthiness and silly talk, or coarse jesting, which ^(B)are not fitting, but rather ^(C)giving of thanks.

^17 (A)Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, ^(B)giving thanks through Him to God the Father.
