²⁹ They are filled with all unrighteousness,^[a] evil, greed, and wickedness. They are full of envy, murder, quarrels, deceit, and malice. They are gossips,^(A)

¹³ Let us walk with decency,^(A) as in the daylight: not in carousing and drunkenness;^(B) not in sexual impurity and promiscuity; not in quarreling and jealousy.

¹¹ For it has been reported to me about you, my brothers, by members of Chloe’s household, that there is rivalry^(A) among you.

³ because you are still fleshly. For since there is envy^(A) and strife^[a](B) among you, are you not fleshly and living like unbelievers?^[b]
