Romans 1:22-24
Easy-to-Read Version
22 They said they were wise, but they became fools. 23 Instead of honoring the divine greatness of God, who lives forever, they traded it for the worship of idols—things made to look like humans, who get sick and die, or like birds, animals, and snakes.
24 People wanted only to do evil. So God left them and let them go their sinful way. And so they became completely immoral and used their bodies in shameful ways with each other.

New International Version
22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools(A) 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images(B) made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.
24 Therefore God gave them over(C) in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.(D)
