Romans 1:16-18
New Testament for Everyone
16 I’m not ashamed of the good news; it’s God’s power, bringing salvation to everyone who believes—to the Jew first, and also, equally, to the Greek. 17 This is because God’s covenant justice is unveiled in it, from faithfulness to faithfulness. As it says in the Bible, “the just shall live by faith.”
Humans reject God and embrace corruption
18 For the anger of God is unveiled from heaven against all the ungodliness and injustice performed by people who use injustice to suppress the truth.

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel,(A) because it is the power of God(B) that brings salvation to everyone who believes:(C) first to the Jew,(D) then to the Gentile.(E) 17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed(F)—a righteousness that is by faith(G) from first to last,[a] just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”[b](H)
God’s Wrath Against Sinful Humanity
18 The wrath of God(I) is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness,
