The Gospel Exalted

1 Paul, a slave of Christ Jesus, ^[a](A)called as an apostle, having been ^(B)set apart for ^(C)the gospel of God,

³ And even if our ^(A)gospel is ^(B)veiled, it is veiled ^[a]to ^(C)those who are perishing,

⁴ in whose case ^(A)the god of ^(B)this age has ^(C)blinded the minds of the unbelieving ^[a]so that they might not see the ^(D)light of the gospel of the ^(E)glory of Christ, who is the ^(F)image of God.

¹⁸ And we have sent along with him ^(A)the brother whose praise in the things of the ^(B)gospel is throughout ^(C)all the churches.

¹³ Because of the proven character given by this ^(A)ministry, they will ^(B)glorify God for your obedience to your ^(C)confession of the ^(D)gospel of Christ and for the ^[a]generosity of your ^[b]fellowship toward them and toward all,

¹⁴ For we are not overextending ourselves, as if we did not reach you, (for ^(A)we were the first to come even as far as you in the ^(B)gospel of Christ),

⁴ For if ^[a]one comes and preaches ^(A)another Jesus whom we did not preach, or you receive a ^(B)different spirit which you did not receive, or a ^(C)different gospel which you did not accept, you ^(D)bear this ^(E)beautifully.

⁷ Or ^(A)did I commit a sin in humbling myself so that you might be exalted, because I proclaimed the ^(B)gospel of God to you ^(C)without charge?

² and we sent ^(A)Timothy, our brother and God’s fellow worker in the gospel of Christ, to strengthen and encourage you as to your faith,
