4 Notwithstanding thou hast a few names yet in Sardis, [a]which have not defiled their garments: and they shall walk with me in [b]white: for they are [c]worthy.
5 He [d]that overcometh, shall be clothed in white array, and I will not put out his Name out of the (A)book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his Angels.
6 Let him that hath an ear, hear what the Spirit saith unto the Churches.

4 Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes.(A) They will walk with me, dressed in white,(B) for they are worthy. 5 The one who is victorious(C) will, like them, be dressed in white.(D) I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life,(E) but will acknowledge that name before my Father(F) and his angels. 6 Whoever has ears, let them hear(G) what the Spirit says to the churches.
