4 But you have a few names[a] in Sardis who did not stain their garments. And they will walk with Me in white garments, because they are worthy. 5 The one overcoming will in-this-manner clothe himself in white garments. And I will never[b] wipe-out[c] his name from the book of life. And I will confess[d] his name before My Father and before His angels. 6 Let the one having an ear hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.

4 Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes.(A) They will walk with me, dressed in white,(B) for they are worthy. 5 The one who is victorious(C) will, like them, be dressed in white.(D) I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life,(E) but will acknowledge that name before my Father(F) and his angels. 6 Whoever has ears, let them hear(G) what the Spirit says to the churches.
