3 Therefore be remembering how you have received and you heard, and be keeping it, and repent. Therefore if you do not keep-watch, I will come like a thief. And you will never know at what hour I will come upon you. 4 But you have a few names[a] in Sardis who did not stain their garments. And they will walk with Me in white garments, because they are worthy. 5 The one overcoming will in-this-manner clothe himself in white garments. And I will never[b] wipe-out[c] his name from the book of life. And I will confess[d] his name before My Father and before His angels.

4 Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes.(D) They will walk with me, dressed in white,(E) for they are worthy. 5 The one who is victorious(F) will, like them, be dressed in white.(G) I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life,(H) but will acknowledge that name before my Father(I) and his angels.
