3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and didst hear; and keep it, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. 4 But thou hast a few names in Sardis that did not defile their garments: and they shall walk with me in white; for they are worthy. 5 He that overcometh shall thus be arrayed in white garments; and I will in no wise blot his name out of the book of life, and I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

3 Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent.(A) But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief,(B) and you will not know at what time(C) I will come to you.
4 Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes.(D) They will walk with me, dressed in white,(E) for they are worthy. 5 The one who is victorious(F) will, like them, be dressed in white.(G) I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life,(H) but will acknowledge that name before my Father(I) and his angels.
