10 Because you have kept the words of my patience, therefore I will keep you from the hour of adversity that will come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 11 Behold, I come shortly. Hold that which you have, so that no one may take away your crown. 12 Him who overcomes, I will make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will go out no more. And I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God. And I will write upon him my new name.

10 Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you(A) from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world(B) to test(C) the inhabitants of the earth.(D)
11 I am coming soon.(E) Hold on to what you have,(F) so that no one will take your crown.(G) 12 The one who is victorious(H) I will make a pillar(I) in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God(J) and the name of the city of my God,(K) the new Jerusalem,(L) which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name.
