10 Because you did obey my message about persevering, I will keep you from the time of trial coming upon the whole world to put the people living on earth to the test. 11 I am coming soon; hold on to what you have, so that no one will take away your crown. 12 I will make him who wins the victory a pillar in the Temple of my God, and he will never leave it. Also I will write on him the name of my God and the name of my God’s city, the new Yerushalayim coming down out of heaven from my God, and my own new name.

10 Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you(A) from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world(B) to test(C) the inhabitants of the earth.(D)
11 I am coming soon.(E) Hold on to what you have,(F) so that no one will take your crown.(G) 12 The one who is victorious(H) I will make a pillar(I) in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God(J) and the name of the city of my God,(K) the new Jerusalem,(L) which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name.
