9 They will spread out over the earth and all around the place where God’s people are and around the city that is loved. Fire will come down from God out of heaven and destroy them. 10 Then the devil who fooled them will be thrown into the lake of fire burning with sulphur. The wild animal and the false preacher are already there. They will all be punished day and night forever.
The Guilty Will Be Punished
11 Then I saw a great white throne. I saw the One Who sat on it. The earth and the heaven left Him in a hurry and they could be found no more.

9 They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded(A) the camp of God’s people, the city he loves.(B) But fire came down from heaven(C) and devoured them. 10 And the devil, who deceived them,(D) was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur,(E) where the beast(F) and the false prophet(G) had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.(H)
The Judgment of the Dead
11 Then I saw a great white throne(I) and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence,(J) and there was no place for them.
