4 And I saw (A)thrones, and they sat on them, and (B)judgment was committed to them. Then I saw (C)the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, (D)who had not worshiped the beast (E)or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they (F)lived and (G)reigned with Christ for [a]a thousand years.

4 I saw thrones(A) on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge.(B) And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded(C) because of their testimony about Jesus(D) and because of the word of God.(E) They[a] had not worshiped the beast(F) or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands.(G) They came to life and reigned(H) with Christ a thousand years.
