Do you remember what it was like before you fell? It’s time to rethink and change your ways;[a] go back to how you first acted. However, if you do not return,[b] I will come quickly[c] and personally remove your lampstand from its place. But you do have this to your credit: you despise the deeds of the Nicolaitans and how they concede to evil. I also hate what they do.

“Let the person who is able to hear, listen to and follow what the Spirit proclaims to all the churches. I will allow the one who conquers through faithfulness even unto death to eat from the tree of life found in God’s lush paradise.”

Consider how far you have fallen! Repent(A) and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand(B) from its place. But you have this in your favor: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans,(C) which I also hate.

Whoever has ears, let them hear(D) what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious,(E) I will give the right to eat from the tree of life,(F) which is in the paradise(G) of God.
