21 I gave her a chance to turn from her sins, but she did not want to stop doing these immoral things.
22 I am going to strike down Jezebel. Everyone who does these immoral things with her will also be punished, if they don't stop. 23 (A) I will even kill her followers.[a] Then all the churches will see that I know everyone's thoughts and feelings. I will treat each of you as you deserve.

21 I have given her time(A) to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling.(B) 22 So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery(C) with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways. 23 I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds,(D) and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.(E)
