Good News Translation
7 Let us rejoice and be glad; let us praise his greatness! For the time has come for the wedding of the Lamb, and his bride has prepared herself for it. 8 She has been given clean shining linen to wear.” (The linen is the good deeds of God's people.)
9 (A)Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Happy are those who have been invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb.” And the angel added, “These are the true words of God.”

7 Let us rejoice and be glad
and give him glory!(A)
For the wedding of the Lamb(B) has come,
and his bride(C) has made herself ready.
8 Fine linen,(D) bright and clean,
was given her to wear.”
(Fine linen stands for the righteous acts(E) of God’s holy people.)
9 Then the angel said to me,(F) “Write this:(G) Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!”(H) And he added, “These are the true words of God.”(I)
