9 Men were scorched with [a]fierce heat; and they (A)blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues, and they (B)did not repent so as to (C)give Him glory.
10 Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the (D)throne of the beast, and his kingdom became (E)darkened; and they gnawed their tongues because of pain, 11 and they (F)blasphemed the (G)God of heaven because of their pains and their (H)sores; and they (I)did not repent of their deeds.
