[a] 6 These two have the power to shut the heavens, so that no rain may fall during the days of their prophesying.[b] And they have power over the waters to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they wish.[c]
7 When they have finished their testimony, the beast that rises from the abyss will make war on them, and overcome them and kill them. [d] 8 And their corpses will lie in the open street[e] of the great city that figuratively is called Sodom and Egypt—where also their[f] Lord was crucified.

6 They have power to shut up the heavens(A) so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying;(B) and they have power to turn the waters into blood(C) and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.
7 Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast(D) that comes up from the Abyss(E) will attack them,(F) and overpower and kill them. 8 Their bodies will lie in the public square of the great city(G)—which is figuratively called Sodom(H) and Egypt—where also their Lord was crucified.(I)
