6 He made a promise by the power of the One who lives forever and ever. He is the One who made the skies and all that is in them. He made the earth and all that is in it, and he made the sea and all that is in it. The angel said, “There will be no more waiting! 7 In the days when the seventh angel is ready to blow his trumpet, God’s secret plan will be finished. This plan is the Good News God told to his servants, the prophets.”
8 Then I heard the same voice from heaven again. The voice said to me, “Go and take the open scroll that is in the angel’s hand. This is the angel that is standing on the sea and on the land.”

6 And he swore(A) by him who lives for ever and ever,(B) who created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it,(C) and said, “There will be no more delay!(D) 7 But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet,(E) the mystery(F) of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.”(G)
8 Then the voice that I had heard from heaven(H) spoke to me once more: “Go, take the scroll(I) that lies open in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.”
