10 So[a] I took the little scroll from the angel’s hand and ate it, and it did taste[b] as sweet as honey in my mouth, but[c] when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter.

10 I took the little scroll from the angel’s hand and ate it. It tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth,(A) but when I had eaten it, my stomach turned sour.
