³⁷ It shall be established forever ^(A)like the moon,
And the ^(B)witness in the sky is faithful.” ^[a]Selah.

¹⁹ He made the moon ^(A)for the seasons;
The ^(B)sun knows the place of its setting.
²⁰ You ^(C)appoint darkness so that it becomes night,
In which all the ^(D)beasts of the forest ^(E)creep about.
²¹ The ^(F)young lions roar to go after their prey
And to ^(G)seek their food from God.
²² When the sun rises they gather together
And lie down in their ^(H)dens.
²³ Man goes forth to ^(I)his work
And to his labor until evening.

⁹ “For ^[a]this is like the days of Noah to Me,
When I swore that the waters of Noah
Would ^(A)not ^[b]overflow the earth again;
So I have sworn that I will ^(B)not be furious with you
Nor will I rebuke you.
¹⁰ For the ^(C)mountains may be removed and the hills may shake,
But My lovingkindness will not be removed from you,
And My ^(D)covenant of peace will not be shaken,”
Says ^(E)Yahweh who has compassion on you.
