15 The nations have fallen into the pit they made;
their foot is caught in the net they have concealed.(A)
16 The Lord has made himself known;
he has executed justice,(B)
snaring the wicked
by the work of their hands.(C)Higgaion. Selah

17 The wicked will return to Sheol(D)—
all the nations that forget God.(E)

16 The Lord is known by his acts of justice;
    the wicked are ensnared by the work of their hands.[a](C)
17 The wicked go down to the realm of the dead,(D)
