⁴¹All who pass by plunder him;^(A)
he has become an object of ridicule
to his neighbors.^(B)

Psalm 89:41

New International Version

⁴¹All who pass by have plundered^(A) him;
he has become the scorn of his neighbors.^(B)

⁴¹All that pass by the way spoil him: he is a reproach to his neighbours.

⁸“Many nations will pass by this city and ask one another, ‘Why did the Lord do such a thing to this great city?’

⁸“People from many nations will pass by this city and will ask one another, ‘Why has the Lord done such a thing to this great city?’^(A)

⁸And many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbour, Wherefore hath the Lord done thus unto this great city?
