10 A single day spent in your Temple is better than a thousand anywhere else! I would rather be a doorman of the Temple of my God than live in palaces[a] of wickedness. 11 For Jehovah God is our Light and our Protector. He gives us grace and glory. No good thing will he withhold from those who walk along his paths.[b]
12 O Lord of the armies of heaven, blessed are those who trust in you.

10 Better is one day in your courts
than a thousand elsewhere;
I would rather be a doorkeeper(A) in the house of my God
than dwell in the tents of the wicked.
11 For the Lord God is a sun(B) and shield;(C)
the Lord bestows favor and honor;
no good thing does he withhold(D)
from those whose walk is blameless.
12 Lord Almighty,
blessed(E) is the one who trusts in you.
