Psalm 75:8-10
Living Bible

8 In Jehovah’s hand there is a cup of pale and sparkling wine. It is his judgment, poured out upon the wicked of the earth. They must drain that cup to the dregs.

9 But as for me, I shall forever declare the praises of the God of Jacob. 10 “I will cut off the strength of evil men,” says the Lord,[a] “and increase the power of good men in their place.”

8 In the hand of the Lord is a cup
    full of foaming wine mixed(A) with spices;
he pours it out, and all the wicked of the earth
    drink it down to its very dregs.(B)

9 As for me, I will declare(C) this forever;
    I will sing(D) praise to the God of Jacob,(E)
10 who says, “I will cut off the horns of all the wicked,
    but the horns of the righteous will be lifted up.”(F)
