6 For not from the east, nor from the west,
Nor from the [a](A)desert comes exaltation;
7 But (B)God is the Judge;
He (C)puts down one and exalts another.
8 For a (D)cup is in the hand of the Lord, and the wine foams;
It is [b](E)well mixed, and He pours out of this;
Surely all the wicked of the earth must drain and (F)drink down its dregs.

8 For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.
