⁵They behaved like men wielding axes
to cut through a thicket of trees.^(A)

⁵A man was famous according as he had lifted up axes upon the thick trees.

⁵They seem like men who lift up
Axes among the thick trees.

³⁴He will cut down^(A) the forest thickets with an ax;
Lebanon^(B) will fall before the Mighty One.^(C)

³⁴And he shall cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, and Lebanon shall fall by a mighty one.
