Psalm 7:9-11

⁹Let wickedness consume the wicked; but establish the just: for the righteous God is he who tries the hearts and kidneys.

¹⁰¶ My shield is in God, he who saves the upright in heart.

¹¹God is he who judges the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.

Psalm 7:9-11

⁹Bring to an end the violence of the wicked
and make the righteous secure—^(A)
you, the righteous God^(B)
who probes minds and hearts.^(C)

¹⁰My shield^[a]^(D) is God Most High,
who saves the upright in heart.^(E)
¹¹God is a righteous judge,^(F)
a God who displays his wrath^(G) every day.
