3 But let the (A)righteous be glad; let them exult before God;
Yes, let them rejoice with gladness.
4 Sing to God, (B)sing praises to His name;
[a](C)Lift up a song for Him who (D)rides through the deserts,
Whose (E)name is [b]the Lord, and exult before Him.

5 A (F)father of the fatherless and a (G)judge [c]for the widows,
Is God in His (H)holy habitation.

3 But may the righteous be glad

    may they be happy and joyful.

4 Sing to God, sing in praise of his name,(B)
    extol him who rides on the clouds[a](C);
    rejoice before him—his name is the Lord.(D)
5 A father to the fatherless,(E) a defender of widows,(F)
    is God in his holy dwelling.(G)
