28 [a]Your God has (A)commanded your strength;
Show Yourself strong, O God, (B)who has worked [b]on our behalf.
29 [c]Because of Your temple at Jerusalem
(C)Kings will bring gifts to You.
30 Rebuke the (D)beast [d]in the reeds,
The herd of (E)bulls with the calves of the peoples,
Trampling under foot the pieces of silver;
He has (F)cast out the peoples who delight in war.

28 Summon your power,(A) God[a];
show us your strength,(B) our God, as you have done(C) before.
29 Because of your temple at Jerusalem
kings will bring you gifts.(D)
30 Rebuke the beast(E) among the reeds,(F)
the herd of bulls(G) among the calves of the nations.
Humbled, may the beast bring bars of silver.
Scatter the nations(H) who delight in war.(I)
